With an impressive track record of guiding students from Grade 2 through Grade 8 to achieve Merit and Distinction awards in ABRSM examinations, Mr. Choi combines proven teaching methodologies with genuine passion for student success. His distinguished qualifications include the ATCL Violin Recital Diploma, ABRSM Grade 8 Cello, Grade 8 Music Theory, and Grade 7 Double Bass—credentials that reflect his deep technical mastery across the full string family. As an active performer, Mr. Choi serves as Principal Double Bassist with the SAR Philharmonic and previously held the position of Violinist with the former Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra.
